Free and paid access

The free tier applies mono to one unique Google Doc or Sheet per local calendar day. Reopening the same file during that day remains free. The allowance resets according to the computer’s local calendar day.

A $4.99 one-time Gumroad payment removes the daily document limit for the lifetime of the product. It is not a subscription. Dark mode, system following, and grayscale remain the same features on both tiers; the paid entitlement changes only the number of documents and spreadsheets on which mono can run.

Gumroad processes checkout and issues the license key under its own terms. Prices, taxes, receipts, payment methods, and legally required refund rights are handled by Gumroad and applicable law. mono may remove paid access after Gumroad reports that a purchase is invalid, refunded, disputed, or charged back. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Availability

Google Docs, Google Sheets, Chrome, Gumroad, and Cloudflare can change or become unavailable independently of mono. A temporary license-verification outage does not revoke a previously verified entitlement; mono keeps the cached entitlement until Gumroad returns a definitive invalid result.

mono changes how a page is displayed. It does not change the underlying document or spreadsheet and is not a backup, security, medical, or accessibility service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, mono.

These terms may be updated with a future release. The effective date above identifies this version.
