How do I turn on dark mode?

Open a Google Doc or Sheet, then open mono from the Chrome toolbar. Use the Dark mode switch to turn it on manually, or check Follow system to match your OS appearance automatically.

Why doesn’t mono do anything?

mono runs only on Google Docs document pages and Google Sheets spreadsheet pages. If the toolbar icon shows nothing has changed, reload the tab — an extension update or a fresh page load can require it once.

What does Grayscale do?

It removes all color from the page independently of dark mode. Turn it on or off from its own switch in the popup; dark mode keeps working whether grayscale is on or not.

What happens after my free document?

The free tier styles one unique Google Doc or Sheet per local calendar day. That file keeps working all day. A second, different file stays in its original appearance until the local day changes — or until you unlock every file for $4.99 once.

What does the lifetime unlock add?

Unlimited Docs and Sheets, for a one-time $4.99 payment through Gumroad. Dark mode and grayscale are identical on both tiers — the unlock removes only the daily document limit.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open mono’s popup, select Already purchased? Activate, and paste the license key from your Gumroad receipt. A successful check unlocks every document immediately. If verification is briefly unavailable, mono keeps your existing entitlement until it can confirm again.

What does mono send anywhere?

Document text, spreadsheet values, titles, and browsing history never leave your browser. Only a Gumroad license key you explicitly enter is sent to mono’s Cloudflare Worker and Gumroad for verification. There is no account, analytics, or remote executable code.

How should I report a problem?

Email go@100k31d.co with the Chrome version, whether you were in a Doc or Sheet, and what you expected to happen. Do not send document content, payment-card information, or a complete license key.
