Shift RSVP is provided as a lightweight reading utility. You may use it to display text you are authorized to access in your browser.
Shift RSVP does not grant rights to copy, redistribute, or otherwise use webpage content. Your use of selected content remains subject to the rights of its owner and the terms of the site where it appears.
Free and paid features
Shift RSVP’s free tier includes three selected-text reading runs per local calendar day with the playback controls, Shift+R shortcut, full 120–900 WPM range, Mono font, Paper theme, and Light appearance. A $4.99 one-time Gumroad payment removes the daily run limit and unlocks the alternate fonts, alternate themes, plus Dark and system-following Auto appearance for the lifetime of the product. It is not a subscription.
Gumroad processes checkout and issues the license key under its own terms. Prices, taxes, payment methods, receipts, and legally required refund rights are handled through Gumroad and applicable law. Shift RSVP may remove the paid entitlement after Gumroad reports that the purchase is invalid, refunded, disputed, or charged back. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability
The extension is provided without a guarantee that it will suit every text, page, person, or reading goal. Chrome prevents extensions from running on protected browser pages and some built-in viewers. License verification also depends on Cloudflare and Gumroad availability. A temporary verification outage does not consume an additional run or change the three-run free boundary.
RSVP reading is not a comprehension, medical, diagnostic, or accessibility service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, Shift RSVP. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded are not excluded.
Changes
These terms may be updated with a future release. The effective date above identifies this version.
