Word replacement for Chrome
Set what to replace and what to show instead. Rewords swaps every match the moment a page loads, on any site — no accounts, no setup beyond the pair itself.
Try it — this is the real popup.
A pair, and it just runs
Type what to replace and what to show instead. Turn on Whole words only so “John” never touches “Johnson.”
Every matching page you open gets rewritten the instant it loads — no toggling, no per-site setup.
Pairs live in Chrome’s own sync storage, so they follow you to any browser you’re signed in to.
Deliberately small
Rewords rewrites the words you define. It does not read page content beyond matching those words, and it has no server that sees the pages you visit.
A separate switch limits a match to the exact word, so a replacement never bleeds into a longer word that contains it.
Add a pair once and it works on any page you load — there is no per-site list to maintain.
The free tier keeps three active replacement pairs, usable everywhere, for as long as you like.
Rewords reads only the words it’s told to match. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking of what you browse.
Pricing
Three replacement pairs are free, forever. The lifetime unlock removes the limit. No subscription.

Nothing leaves your browser
Rewords does not read page content beyond matching the words you define, and it has no server that sees the pages you visit. To verify a lifetime license, only the key itself is sent to a Cloudflare Worker, which checks it against Gumroad and returns nothing but valid or not.
