Rewords operates locally in your browser. It has no account, no analytics, and no server that sees the pages you visit.

Data collection

Rewords runs locally. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any server. Every replacement pair you create is kept in your browser's own sync storage.

Permissions

Rewords uses the “storage” permission for one thing: keeping your replacement lists in sync across the browsers you are signed in to. We do not read your browsing history or identify individual users.

Payment processing

Gumroad handles every payment. Our only role is a Cloudflare Worker that checks whether a license key is valid, so the unlimited version can unlock.
